Man City’s Kyle Walker might ‘never play for England again’ after hosting ‘sex party’ despite COVID-19 lockdown

Manchester City defender, Kyle Walker, is facing a massive fine from the club after breaching COVID-19 lockdown rules to host a sex party.

He’s also at risk of losing his place in the England national team permanently,

The player invited two sex workers to his house who, according to reports were paid £2,200 each for their services.

The player’s actions are in stark contrast to a campaign by his club, which Walker has been part of, to get people to stay at home due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

He has since apologised although he is still expected to face a hefty punishment from the club.

“I want to take this opportunity to issue a public apology for the choices I made last week. I understand my position as a professional footballer brings the responsibility of being a role model.

“As such, I want to apologise to my family, friends, football club, supporters and the public for letting them down,” he said.

A Man City spokesperson said the club was deeply disappointed with Walker’s actions given the club’s role in the efforts against coronavirus but notes his apology and will be sanctioning him internally.

“Footballers are global role models and our staff and players have been working to support the incredible efforts of the NHS and other key workers in fighting the effects of Covid-19, in any way we can.

“Kyle’s actions in this matter have directly contravened these efforts. We are disappointed to hear the allegations, note Kyle’s swift statement and apology, and will be conducting an internal disciplinary procedure.”

Walker is the latest player to break isolation regulations in the wake of the freeze on football.

Earlier Aston Villa star Jack Grealish was reportedly fined £150,000 for ignoring the restrictions only to end up crashing his car into two others.

Real Madrid forward, Luka Jovic is also under investigation in Serbia after leaving isolation to attend his girlfriend’s birthday party.

Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng was also fined by his club after he left his home to visit his son in hospital, despite a lockdown being in place.
