Ghana captain Andre Ayew scored his first goal of the season for Al Sadd in their 3-1 win over Qatar SC on Thursday night.
The former Swansea City attacker scored in the 63rd minute to get the equalizer for Al Sadd who had gone down in the 39th minute through Sebastian Soria.
Guilherme increased the lead for the Qatari champions in the 78th minute with the second goal of the game.
Algerian striker Baghdad Bounedjah sealed the win for Al Sadd in the 83rd minute with the third goal of the game.
Al Sadd go top of the table with six points after the win.
