GFA releases 25-name list for FIFA, GFA goalkeeper coaching course

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has released the list of goalkeeper trainers who will take part in FIFA’s five-day coaching course which began today, Monday, 25th July 2022.

Goalkeeper trainers of all the national teams and a few trainers from the various leagues in the country are participating in the course.

“FIFA Instructor Mr Alejandro Heredia will lead the course sessions with assistance from Bernard Lippert, Technical Director, Prof. Joseph Kwame Mintah, Director of Coaching Education and Maxwell Ceasar Kemeh, the Administrative Manager and other Course Coordinators,” a statement from the GFA said.

“This course forms part of the GFA’s plan to improve the goalkeeping department of the game in Ghana.”

Among the names published are the goalkeeper trainers for Ghana Premier League champions, Asante Kotoko and for FA Cup winners, Hearts of Oak – Joseph Baah and Kennedy Amponsah.
