Kotoko signs former Hearts of Oak Defender Mo Alhassan

Asante Kotoko has announced the signing of former Hearts of Oak defender Mohammed Alhassan.

Mohammed Alhassan joins the defending champions of the betPawa Ghana Premier League on a free transfer after parting ways with Hearts of Oak earlier this season.

He is expected to join the team during their Match Week 16 game against Dreams FC in Dawu.

The 30-year-old who is regarded as a ball-playing center back, won the league title with Hearts of Oak in the 2020/21 season and two FA Cup trophies.

Mo Alhassan who began his career with WAFA before joining Hearts of Oak, has racked up over 90 appearances in the Ghanaian top flight.

The WAFA Academy graduate beefs up Kotoko’s defensive rooster adding experience to the defensive unit.
