The St. Gallen shot-stopper has had an impressive season in the Swiss Super League despite keeping just three clean sheets.

Ati Zigi has demonstrated his efficiency in saving penalties, having stopped two spot kicks out of the ten he faced throughout the season.

The 26-year-old’s recognition comes on the back of the fact that he has saved 103 of the 146 shots he has faced so far this season in the Swiss Super League.

He is averaging 3.5 saves per game which is indicative of his importance to the team despite being porous at the back.

The Ghanaian was also named the Best Player in the Swiss League for the first round.
