Ghanaian midfielder Hans Nunoo Sarpei says fellow Ghanaian player Patric Pfeiffer’s move to Bundesliga outfit FC Augsburg is totally deserved.

He said this in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports after donating library items to two schools in Accra after playing 33 games in the 2022-2023 season with Ingolstadt.

The 24 year old defensive midfielder added he was satisfied with his performance in the recently concluded season where he scored a goal and registered an assist. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

German born Ghanaian international Pfeiffer recently signed to play for Augsburg after starring in Darmstadt’s promotion to the Bundesliga from Bundesliga 2.

Sarpei congratulated Pfeiffer after completing the move and added the athletic 6-foot, 5-inch defender’s performances were deserving of a move like this.

“I congratulate Pfeiffer for his move to Augsburg which I think he deserves so far for the season he has played in the previous season (with Darmstadt).”
