Ghana forward Kwame Peprah is absent at Orlando Pirates’ preseason training in Spain at a time his future with the South African giant hangs in the balance.

The Soweto giant is in the Iberian nation preparing for the upcoming season but former King Faisal FC player, Peprah is yet to report to the training base, according to South African Journalist Lorenz Kohler.

Kohler also reports Peprah has received offers from a club in Qatar’s lower tier with some interest from teams in Morocco and Tanzania; serious interest has also come from Isreal.

Pirates reportedly rejected a move for Peprah to join Libyan side Al-Ahli Tripoli earlier in the 2022-2023 season.

After struggling for playing time in the first half of the past season, Peprah was sent out on loan to fellow DSTV Premier League side, Maritzburg United.

However, he scored just a goal in 14 games as the team suffered relegation to the lower division.

Peprah made a promising start to life in South Africa’s top-flight division when scored nine goals in 39 games and was nominated for the Best Young Player Award in the 2021-2022 season.
