Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club head coach, Martin Koopman, says he is not worried about his team’s slow start to life in the 2023-2024 Betpawa Premier League season.

Hearts of Oak have four points in four league games and ranks 15th in the 18 team league standings after drawing goalless with Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium in its latest outing.

Speaking in a post-game interview, the Dutch trainer stated that he isn’t worried about the team’s run to open the campaign while bemoaning missed scoring opportunities. Hearts SC has one win (a 1-0 victory over Nsoatreman) thus far.

“I am very proud of my team. No I am not worried. I am not worried. This is football and if you see the young team we have and what happened in preseason, we did a very good job…we missed a striker.”

Hearts has lost to Real Tamale United and Bofoakwa Tano via 0-1 results this season and is under pressure to pick up its performance after finishing 12th last season.
