West Ham United manager David Moyes says Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus’ start to life in the English Premier for West Ham has been better than he anticipated.
He said this in a pre-game interview as West Ham preps to play Tottenham Hotspurs on Thursday, December 7 at 20:15 GMT.
Kudus scored his third goal in the English Premier League in West Ham’s 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace after sweeping Vladimir Coufal’s cross into the net. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
The 23 year old joined The Hammers from Dutch side Ajax Amsterdam and has been influential since swapping the Netherlands for England and in the process, surprising Moyes to an extent.
“Mo has started great for us. He’s had an impact with his goals and assists, and I think his all-round play has been good. I’ve been hugely impressed how well he’s done. He’s probably started better than I would have anticipated” Moyes said and added that,
“We eased him in during the first couple of games but since then we’ve found that he was scoring or making goals for us. Now he’s starting and doing much of the same, and we hope that continues.”
