Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club assistant coach David Ocloo has conceded that his team got dominated by Real Tamale United (RTU) in its penultimate game of the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League season first round.
He said this in an interview after Kotoko scored a 1-0 win over RTU at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi after Steven Mukwala converted a penalty kick attempt.
Kotoko are unbeaten in six games in the Ghana League and have moved to sixth place in the league standings with 26 points and are three points off league leaders FC Samartex.
However, coach Ocloo admitted his side was the inferior of the two in the first half of the contest saying,
“It’s true. They dominated us in the first half. You could see that we gave them a lot of space in the middle…because they were playing a typical 4-4-2 (formation) but after that during recess we talked to the boys and they came together and we dominated.”
