Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner says Ghana midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp won’t feature in The Eagles upcoming game in the English Premier League.
Glasner disclosed this ahead of Palace’s game against Luton Town at Selhurst Park at 15:00 GMT on Saturday, March 9.
This is due to Schlupp’s recovery process from injury that has forced him to miss the last two Palace games in the league.
Speaking on Schlupp’s potential availability for the crucial game involving two teams in the relegation battle, the former Frankfurt manager said,
“Jeff Schlupp had the training session today. He won’t be in the squad tomorrow, but then we have three weeks with no game, and after the national team break I expect him to be back in the squad.
“So this gives us more options. It is always good as a manager to have the players on the pitch [rather] than in the gym.”
Palace rank 14th in the league with Luton Town ranked 18th.
