Dreams Football Club head coach, Abdul Karim Zito, says his team conceded goals against SC Zamalek due to a lack of concentration.
He said this in a post game interview after seeing his side lose 3-0 to the Egyptian side in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semifinal game played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
The result had Zamalek progress to the final via a 3-0 aggregate win following a goalless draw in the first leg in Egypt.
Despite being in a strong position to qualify to the continental championship’s final game in its debut campaign in the tournament, Dreams conceded twice in the first half and the tie was effectively over when Mostafa Shalaby scored in the 59th minute.
Addressing the media, Karim Zito pointed to a lack of concentration in the lead up to Zamalek’s goals stating,
“We lacked creating opportunities, then they were able to score goals and scored due to a lack of our concentration.”

Dreams FC qualified to compete in this year’s CAF Confederation Cup by winning the MTN FA Cup and are in pole position to defend the title this season.
