Nsoatreman Football Club head coach, Yaw Preko, says his team will give its second leg tie against CS Constantine of Algeria a good go despite losing the first leg.
Nsoatreman lost 2-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium with both Constantine goals coming from Algerian forward Zakaria Benchaa scoring in the 11th and 27th minute respectively. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
Benchaa’s first goal came off a brilliant solo run from the right side to tuck the ball between Nsoatreman goalkeeper Ferdinand Sabi’s legs with his second goal coming off a wonderful strike from 25 yards out.
Speaking in his post-game address, Yaw Preko was adamant his team will be competitive in the second leg in Algeria on September 21.
“We are two nil down, so we are not going there to defend, we are going to play them, we are going to give it a go. Especially in the second half what I saw from my boys, if we play the way we played in the second half…all we need to do is if by chance we get chances, we have to do what; bury them.”

Nsoatreman is competing in the CAF Confederation Cup for the first time.
