Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has promised an improved performance from his lads in its high profile league tie against FC Samartex.

The game has the league leaders Samartex play at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi against the 11th ranked Kotoko side that is in a terrible run of form.

The Porcupine Warriors have lost six of its last seven Ghana Premier League games in the 2023-2024 season second round. Kotoko ended the first round in second place.

However, after meeting Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, coach Ogum believes his side will deliver an improved performance with a “new energy level”.

“They-supporters- should expect a new performance, a new energy level, everything will be new on Sunday in terms of our performance. The performance will go high and we expect that at the end of the day, we will make them happy” coach Ogum said to Opemsuo Radio.
