Osman Bukari transfer deal to Austin FC worth $7 million- US Broadcaster reveals [VIDEO]

The financial details of Black Stars winger Osman Bukari’s transfer deal from Red Star Belgrade (Crvena Zvezda) to Major League Soccer (MLS) side Austin FC officially remain undisclosed.

However, according to US based broadcaster for Portland Timbers Radio-another MLS side- Adam Susman, the deal is worth seven million dollars.

The deal that was announced late in May had the former FC Nantes player join Austin on a three and a half year deal with an option to extend for a year. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

Speaking on his Evergreen Podcast, Susman added that Red Star Belgrade was offered a $10 million deal for Bukari by MLS side Chicago Fire six months ago.

Susman described Bukari’s signing to Austin as an “exciting one” adding that “players like this make the league more fun…I’m excited to see Bukari play for Austin.

Bukari won the Serbian League and Cup double in back to back seasons during his time at Red Star Belgrade and competed for Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup and 2023 AFCON.

He is in the Black Stars squad for Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic on June 6 and June 10 respectively.
