Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club goalkeeper, Frederick Asare, has delivered his assessment of his team in the just ended Ghana Premier League season.

Kotoko finished sixth in the 2023-2024 Ghana League season with 49 points on the back of recording 30 out of 51 points at home despite having the most wins (five) away from home.

Resonating the sentiment shared by Kotoko head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum in his end of season address, Asare indicated that the season was a disappointing one for the Porcupine Warriors. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

Writing on his X (formerly known as Twitter) page, the former Accra Lions goalkeeper, who was named in the Black Stars squad that honoured recent 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic stated,

“Not a good season to write home about. Lessons learnt, more room for improvement. Thank you for the love and support.”
