Accra Great Olympics assistant head coach, Orlando Wellington, is adamant his team will survive in the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League season.
He said this after leading his team to clinch a must needed 1-0 win over Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
Great Olympics, despite the win, are still in the relegation zone with a 16th place ranking on the 18 team league standings with 39 points but trail 15th placed team Karela United by just a point.
After the encouraging win over Kotoko, the veteran coach stated his belief that the Dade Boys will survive the drop.
“Yes there is a way for us to get out of the relegation zone. This is what we are fighting for, that’s why I’m very very happy that we collected these three maximum points here in Kumasi.”

Great Olympics have just three games left to play to save their Premier League status and take on Dreams FC in a midweek clash on Wednesday, June 5.
