Ahead of the Black Stars game against Angola on September 5, the Baba Yara Sports Stadium pitch is getting prepared for the important matchup.

Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team will play against Angola next month at the Baba Yara Stadium in the opening game of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.
The Black Stars have been drawn in Group F alongside Angola, Niger and Sudan as the four time African champions attempt to qualify as one of the group’s top two finishers to next year’s AFCON in Morocco.

Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey urged Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to address the issue ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Central African Republic in June. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
