FC Barcelona have signed Ghana left full back David Oduro from Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions Football Club.

The Spanish giant have signed the 18 year old left full back to its academy- the famous La Masia as it closed out what has been a rather low key offseason transfer.

Oduro’s transfer at the time of writing, was reported by Italian football insider Fabrizio Romano who went to talk about the type of history Oduro is setting.

Writing on his X (formerly Twitter) page, Romano stated that Oduro is the first player to sign directly from Ghana to the club.

This news comes in the wake of Dreams FC playmaker and Ghana Under 20 National Men’s Football Team (Black Satellites) star, Abdul Aziz Issah’s, reported trails with the club.

Issah has excelled over the past couple of seasons at Dreams FC and played starring roles in the club’s outstanding CFA Confederation Cup semifinals run and the Black Stars 2023 African Games gold medal win.
