Hasaacas Ladies going scoreless in two games is not the best- Emmanuel Mensah

Hasaacas Ladies Football Club assistant coach, Emmanuel Mensah, has stated that going scoreless in two outings for his team is far from the best and is not the standard his team operates at.

He said this in a post-game interview after Hasaacas lost 3-0 to Edo Queens of Nigeria in the WAFU Zone B Championship in Cote D’Ivoire.

Hasaacas are attempting to qualify to the main competition of the CAF Women’s Champions League but have made a poor start going winless in two games.

The Sekondi based team drew goalless with Omnisport from Burkina Faso in the opening game and aside failing to pick up a win, coach Mensah is disappointed that his side has failed to score a goal in the competition.

“It’s not the best, not being able to score, shows that attacking-wise, we have not been that top notch. It’s unfortunate because that is not Hasaacas’ standard. We need to work on that and in our next game try to score goals.”
