Ghana sprinter Joseph Paul Amoah is seemingly hyped up ahead of the 4×100 Metre Relay semifinals at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Ghana competes on Thursday, August 8 at 9:35 GMT.
Amoah, let his feelings known on his X, formerly Twitter, page as he is set to compete in the second of two semifinal heats in the event for a place in the final.
Ghana’s flagbearer at the opening ceremony for this year’s Olympics, Amoah, wrote on his X page, “Almost time to eat, Let’s get it” and attached a photo of Ghana’s Men’s Relay Team to the message.
Team Ghana will run in Lane 3 alongside Liberia in Lane 2, Brazil in Lane 4, China in Lane 5, Canada in lane 6, France in Lane 7, Jamaica in Lane 8 and Germany in Lane 9.
Ghana is gunning for its first final appearance in an event in the competition after missing out in the Men’s 100 Metres, Women’s high jump, Men’s swimming and Women’s swimming.
