FC Barcelona confirm signing of Dreams FC midfielder Abdul Aziz Issah

Spanish giants FC Barcelona have signed Dreams Football Club midfielder Abdul Aziz Issah to a one year contract.

The Ghana Under-20 Men’s Football Team star has joined the Catalan club on loan till June 30, 2025 with the option to buy at the end of the deal.

18 year old Issah has been assigned to Barcelona’s B Team- Barca Atletic- and will play under Atletic head coach Albert Sanchez.

Issah joins David Oduro who moved from fellow Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions to the Spanish club; left full back Oduro joined on the final day of the main transfer window. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

After a breakout 2023-3024 campaign with Dreams FC after winning the 2022-2023 MTN FA Cup with Dreams FC, Issah had been heavily linked with a move to a handful of top European clubs including English Premier League side Brentford.

With Dreams FC, Issah scored four goals in 10 outings in the CAF Confederation Cup as Dreams FC went on a surprise run to the semifinals in its debut campaign in the continental championship.
