Africa Basketball Festival (ABF) is proud to announce the University of Ghana as the official host for its highly anticipated 4th edition.
The festival, set to take place from 24-27 October, 2024, will bring together ten (10) countries in basketball action, 15 fashion brands, musicians and key figures for 4days of exciting games, fashion shows, music performances and cultural exchange.
The 2024 Africa Basketball Festival, which is the 4th edition, will feature a variety of events, including competitive basketball matches and talent showcases. The festival will also highlight different cultures through fashion, music and dance creating a dynamic atmosphere for all attendees.
Ato Van Ess, President of Ghana Basketball Association, highlighted the importance of the University of Ghana as the event’s host, stating:
“The University of Ghana is an ideal venue for the 2024 Africa Basketball Festival. Its great and accessible facilities and commitment to youth development align with our vision to promote basketball as a unifying force in Ghana and across the continent.”
With thousands of spectators expected, the 2024 Africa Basketball Festival will showcase the best of basketball, exciting fashion shows and music performances while creating opportunities for youth empowerment, talent discovery, and international sports and fashion collaborations.
