Ghana forward Andre Dede Ayew has made his first start for Le Havre in the French Ligue 1 in his second run out with the club.
The Black Stars player lasted the entire duration of Le Havre’s 1-0 loss to Stade Rennes with Ayew starting as one of two strikers; Ilyes Housni played alongside the former Olympique Marseille player.
Having helped Le Havre avoid relegation in the 2023-2024 season, Ayew returned to Le Havre after a period as a free agent and made his debut off the bench in a 4-0 home loss to Olympique Lyon.
In 90 minutes, Dede Ayew completed 14 of 17 pass attempts, won two of three ground duels and won one of three aerial duels. He added an interception in the contest.
Following the loss, Le Havre rank 16th in the 18 team league standings with two wins and seven losses at the time of writing.

Fellow Black Stars player Alidu Seidu, played 78 minutes and won 10 of 13 ground duels from the right full back position.
Rennes ranked eighth in the league after the win over Le Havre.
