Spintex Knights Basketball Club will represent Ghana in the Basketball Africa League preliminary round aiming to progress to the main competition of the continental championship.

Knights have been drawn in Group B of the West Division alongside Elan Coton of Benin, Abidjan Basketball Club of Cote D’Ivoire and Mighty Barolle of Liberia. The competition runs from October 10 to October 12 in Libya.

The West Division’s Group A has Kriol Stars of Cape Verde, Stade Malien from Mali, USFA from Burkina Faso and Al Ahli Tripoli from Libya.

The top two ranked teams after a round robin format of games will progress to the next round-the Elite 16 stage- that will be held in Cote D’Ivoire.

Accra Basketball League Champions, Knights, take on Coton and Abidjan on October 10 and October 11 respectively before taking on Barolle to close out their debut run in the tournament.
