Spintex Knights Basketball Club Co-founder, Dr. Eric Opoku-Antwi, has strong belief in his team’s chances of making it to the Elite 16 stage of the Basketball Africa League (BAL).
He said this in an interview with the media ahead of the Accra Basketball League Champions trip to Libya to compete in the preliminary round of the NBA run competition.

Knights have been drawn in Group B alongside Elan Coton from Benin, Mighty Barrole Basketball Club from Liberia and Abidjan Basketball Club.
The top two ranked teams in the group after a round robin system of games progress to the next stage of the tournament that is to be held in Cote D’Ivoire to determine the four teams that get to compete in the 2025 Basketball Africa League and Dr. Opoku-Antwi is confident his team make it.
“For us, for the past three to four years, we have been very very consistent and we’ve shown working. We believe and trust our chances we can make it there.”
