West Ham United Football Club manager Julen Lopetegui believes that Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus will learn from the mistake he committed that has led to his absence from West Ham’s upcoming game against Manchester United.
Kudus will serve the first of a three game ban after picking up a straight red card for a violent act in West Ham’s 4-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspurs. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
Speaking in a pre-game press conference, Lopetegui stated that The Hammers aren’t happy about the dismissal and called for the incident to be the last from Kudus.
“He is young, but for sure he’s not happy, we are not happy. It can happen, but I hope that is the last time that we suffer this kind of action. He is going to learn for the next years that the only way to handle and to manage the frustration is by running more and focusing it in the match. So it happened, but I am sure that is not going to happen more.”
“I talked with him. That’s why I say that for sure that he’s going to learn about this incident and that in the future, for sure that he’s going to handle this kind of action better.”
