Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has addressed “fatigue concerns” about his team after Kotoko beat Nsoatreman 1-0 in an outstanding Ghana Premier League game at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

The win is Kotoko’s second win in four games in the 2024-2025 season and Dr. Ogum believes that fatigue issues aren’t consistent with his team in a post-game interview. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

Beating CAF Confederation Cup competitors, Nsoatreman at Kotoko’s temporary home venue, meant that Kotoko remains unbeaten in the league with two draws and two wins including a 1-1 draw with Berekum Chelsea.

“Sometimes it’s all about the energy distribution so sometimes when it gets to that stage, the 75th minute you signs of fatigue setting in but then they are able to manage it….Unlike (the game against) Berekum Chelsea, … after the 75th minute, we were in charge of the game so it’s not a consistent thing.”

Kotoko head coach Dr. Ogum

Kotoko take on Accra Lions next on Sunday, October 6 at Obuasi at 15:00 GMT; Lions beat Kotoko 3-2 at the Baba Yara Stadium last season en route to finishing second in the league.
