Otto Addo, a former talent coach for Borussia Dortmund, emphasized his players’ readiness and positive mindset, telling the Ghana FA website,

“The boys are looking sharp and in great shape.” He added, “The atmosphere is good, and everyone understands the importance of this game.”

Ghana currently sits in 4th place in Group F with only two points from four matches.

However, their qualification hopes remain alive after Niger’s 4-0 win over Sudan on Thursday.

To secure a spot, the Black Stars must win both of their remaining matches against Angola and Niger while hoping for an Angola victory over Sudan.
