On November 23rd 2024, at the CLOGSAG Auditorium marks the commencement of the widely anticipated CODED Esports League. In a free entry tournament organized in partnership with CLOGSPORTS and sponsored by Dalex Swift, gamers will compete for cash prizes and community prestige.

The event also marks a key milestone in the buildup to the future release of the Coded Esports App – a platform that is set to revolutionize esports in Africa.

Speaking exclusively to Citi Sports, E-Matrix Technology founder, Dodzi Lithur asserted:

“The Coded Esports App will aim to bring valuable features that vastly enhance the gaming ecosystem in Africa which include: ticketing, statistics , league management and streaming. This integration will help establish a robust esports market while creating jobs and reducing unemployment in Africa.”

He added:

“The Esports market is growing, Amplify Africa recently reported that the Ghana esports industry alone generates a staggering $34 million annually, and we want to share that revenue with players”

Through initiatives like the Matchup Challenge, a program that invites players from universities, high schools, and gaming centers to compete head-to-head. Coded E-Matrix Technology is creating avenues for gamers at all levels to hone their skills and grow their profiles in the esports community.

The November 23rd tournament is not only a celebration of the local gaming community but a preview of the CodedEsports App’s potential to elevate African esports on a global scale. Gamers, spectators, and industry stakeholders alike have reason to look forward to a future where gaming becomes a thriving, accessible industry across the continent.
