At 44 years old, Sampson steps into the role with a wealth of experience, having served as an assistant coach for the Black Queens.

His coaching journey began with Assyriska United Girls U-15 in Sweden, followed by a managerial stint with Swedish Women’s League side Telge United FC.

The former Ghana U-20 player will be supported by Fiifi Parker Hanson, head coach of Golden Kicks, and Anita Wiredu, who retains her role as assistant coach.

The immediate task for the newly assembled technical team is to prepare the Black Princesses for the upcoming 2025 FIFA Women’s U-20 World Cup qualifiers, as they aim to secure a spot in the global tournament.
