Black Galaxies head coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has stated that his outfit isn’t entertaining any negative thoughts about its CHAN qualification campaign despite recording a goalless draw against Nigeria.
Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team that is only eligible to Ghana based players, recorded a stalemate with Nigeria on Sunday, December 22 at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first of a two legged tie.
The winner of the tie qualifies to compete at next year’s CHAN that will be held in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania; the second leg takes place in Nigeria on December 28.
Speaking after the game, Dramani pushed back on the notion of Ghana’s potential failure to qualify to compete in the tournament.
“When we don’t qualify, there is still (a) positive. What is positive about this is that, these boys have been exposed to a certain level of our Ghanaian league and this is the page that we want to print out that we are expressing our domestic competition structure to the rest of Africa and the world.”

“We are not even thinking about it, we are just thinking about how to prepare and get to Nigeria and get to the pitch and play.”
