A Vice Chairman Aspirant in the 2025 Ghana League Clubs Associations (GHALCA) Elections, Nana Amankwah Kwakye, has stated that his campaign hasn’t been affected by the postponement of the elections.
On the contrary, the football administrator believes that the change in date for the elections from Tuesday, January 21 to Thursday, January 23 at the GHALCA Secretariat, has had a positive impact on his campaign to win the Vice Chairman position.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports ahead of the elections, Nana Amankwah had a positive outlook on the elections campaign run.
“Well, we got information that the electoral commission were going to resume on the 20th (of January) so we should give them some two days to regroup to come and organize the elections for us so that was the information that was given to us. No not at all; it (the postponement) gave us further time to campaign. I will say it affected us positively.”
Nana Kwakye is the Sporting Director of Access Bank Division One outfit King Faisal and is running for the position against Miss Phyllis Marku.
