Recently appointed Medeama Sporting Club head coach, Ibrahim Tanko, has expunged on his core values he wishes to pass on to players of the club.
Former Ghana Black Stars player Tanko, was named as Medeama head coach to replace Nebojsa Kapor; prior to joining Medeama, Tanko spent three years with the club.
In a meeting with the press for the first time as Medeama head coach, Tanko stated that his exit from Lions wasn’t acrimonious while highlighting his core values of unity, discipline and hard work. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
“You need discipline in the group to achieve what you want. You have to be disciplined, you have to work hard. I told them (the players), you are playing in one of the best clubs in Ghana and definitely you have to give your best and that is what we are going to do.”

Medeama take on Legon Cities on Sunday, February 2 at 15:00 GMT on the back of a four game winless streak.
