Norwich City head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup has provided an update on the extent of Ghana midfielder Amankwah Forson’s injury.
In his post-game interview after Norwich lost 4-0 to English Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion in Round 3 of the FA Cup played out this past weekend, Thorup confirmed that a knee injury influenced Forson’s substitution in the 46th minute.
Kellen Fisher replaced the Black Stars player in the loss after Amankwah started for the first time for The Canaries after missing out on seven straight games and coming off the bench in Norwich’s last game against Coventry City.
Forson came off the bench and scored two goals to give Norwich a 2-1 win over Coventry City in an EFL Championship game. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
“Forson (Amankwah) had some contact to his knee so hopefully it’s not too serious. We’ll have to wait and see” Thorup said.

Amankwah Forson has two goals and two assists in 18 games this season in all competitions. Norwich take on Sheffield United on Saturday, January 18 next.
