Hearts of Lions 1-2 Legon Cities — Battle for the Capital
The matchday kicked off with a clash of the bottom sides, both based in Accra, fighting for more than just points; it was all about city bragging rights.
Ernest Agyesem gave Legon Cities a dream start in the 4th minute, but Hearts of Lions responded with a 43rd-minute equalizer from Frank Akoto. However, it was Legon Cities’ defender Musa Hamzata who had the final say, slotting home the winner to secure a crucial victory.

Both teams have struggled for form ; this was Legon Cities’ first win in five games, while Hearts of Lions have now lost four out of their last five, with their only win in that period coming against Berekum Chelsea. The win lifts Legon Cities just one point above Hearts of Lions at the bottom of the table.
Asante Kotoko 1-0 Basake Holy Stars — Porcupine Warriors Go Top
Asante Kotoko continued their resurgence, climbing to the top of the table with a narrow 1-0 win over 14th-placed Basake Holy Stars.

A thunderous 14th-minute strike from Samuel Tenedu proved to be the difference as the two-time CAF Champions League winners extended their unbeaten run and sent a message to title contenders.
Berekum Chelsea 0-0 FC Samartex — Cagey Draw Hurts Both
Defending champions FC Samartex 1996 were held to a goalless draw by Berekum Chelsea in a tight midfield battle. Both sides created chances but failed to convert.
Samartex now sit 8th with 32 points, while Chelsea are two places behind in 10th, missing an opportunity to climb the table.
Bibiani Gold Stars 1-1 Hearts of Oak — Late Drama at DUN’s Park
In one of the most thrilling games of the weekend, second-placed Bibiani Gold Stars were denied a win at the death by Hearts of Oak.

After Gideon Anaba converted a penalty, it looked like Bibiani would take all three points. But in stoppage time, Stephen Asare Appiah stepped up for the Phobians with a dramatic equalizer. Bibiani remain second, while Hearts of Oak drop to fourth.
Dreams FC 1-0 Young Apostles — Late Strike Seals It
Dreams FC left it late but secured all three points against Young Apostles thanks to an 81st-minute goal from Abdul Razak Salifu.

Dreams move up to 9th place, while Young Apostles, despite the loss, remain 12th and continue their decent run with only one loss in five matches.
Karela United 2-1 Bechem United — Comeback Chaos
Bechem United took a first-half lead through Emmanuel Abban in the 45th minute, but a second-half collapse saw Karela United turn the game around.

An unfortunate own goal by Baba Moro Abdulai in the 77th minute leveled the score, and just five minutes later, Eric Antwi Konadu delivered the winner. The victory moves Karela United to 15th, while Bechem United sit 6th.
