The team that will be Representing Ghana in the Africa Junior Swimming Championship

Ghana’s contingent has officially left Accra for Cairo, Egypt, to compete in the 16th Africa Junior Swimming Championships. The competition is set to take place at the iconic Cairo International Stadium from April 30 to May 3, 2025.

Leading the squad is Oduma Agyei, who will serve as Team Captain. He will be joined by standout swimmers including Michael Arthur Crabbeman, Johnson Gyarko, and several others, as Ghana aims to make a strong impression on the continental stage.

The Africa Junior Swimming Championships is one of the premier competitions for young swimmers across the continent, providing a vital platform for emerging talents to gain international experience and showcase their skills.

Team Ghana has been preparing intensively in the lead-up to the event and will be aiming for strong performances and potential podium finishes.

The 2025 edition of the Championships is expected to feature hundreds of swimmers from across Africa, making it a highly competitive event. Team Ghana will compete in various individual and relay events across different age categories.
