Public Relations Officer of Faith Ladies Football Club, Francis Mawutor, has stated that the club won’t take its appearance in the Malta Guinness Women’s FA Cup Final for granted.

He said this in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports ahead of the big game against Jonina Ladies at the University of Ghana Stadium-Legon on Sunday, May 18 at 15:00 GMT.

Faith Ladies have had an interesting campaign in the 2024-2025 season as the club sits just a win away from winning the title but suffered relegation from the Ghana Women’s League.

Despite the setback of suffering relegation, Francis Mawutor believes that his team will take the upcoming final very seriously.

“We are not taking it for granted. We know Jonina [Ladies] have been a force to reckon with, their energy level, they are very aggressive and because we attack one game after the other, we will do the same thing for the match” he said.
