Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, has revealed that discussions are ongoing between the NSA and Vybz Kartel’s management regarding the possibility of hosting a concert at the Accra Sports Stadium in December.
Vybz Kartel’s team reportedly submitted a formal request to the NSA as part of plans for a global tour later this year, with Ghana earmarked as a potential stop.
Though he earlier stated that the venue may not be available for such an event, Ampofo Ankrah now says there has been progress.

While no final agreement has been reached yet, the NSA boss emphasized that all necessary logistics, including security, scheduling, and infrastructure requirements, are being carefully assessed to determine the stadium’s availability for the high-profile event.
