Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have marked their 90th anniversary with the unveiling of a new away kit for the 2025/26 season, branded the “Untamed Warrior.”

The kit was designed and produced by The Hope Brand (THB), a Ghanaian-owned sportswear company based in Germany.

As part of a wider partnership, THB will also provide the club with training wear, travel outfits, and fan merchandise.

According to THB’s Marketing Manager, Abraham Sarbeng Antwi, the club’s rich history and culture were the driving force behind the design.

“It is because of their history and their culture. We had to add that cultural aspect to it when designing.

People are going to see it because culture is a way of life; it connects people together.

We want the fans and everyone in the Kotoko fraternity to connect with the team and with what they’re wearing,” he explained.

The unveiling follows the release of Kotoko’s home kit in July, which retained the club’s iconic red and white colours.

August 31st marks a historic milestone in the journey of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club as the Club celebrates its 90th Anniversary.

For nine decades, the Porcupine Warriors have stood tall as a force to reckon with, not only in Ghana but also on the African continent.

The Porcupine Warriors are stepping up preparations for the upcoming league campaign and their CAF Confederation Cup fixtures after a disappointing performance in the recent GHALCA Top Four tournament.
