Chelsea have requested for Nicolas Jackson to return to the club and in the process call off a loan move for the Senegal striker to German side Bayern Munich.
This development was reported by football insider David Ornstein who communicated that Jackson who is in Germany at the writing has to return to the club.
Jackson’s return has been prompted by the injury to fellow Chelsea striker Liam Delap who has been ruled out with an injury for six weeks to eight weeks according to Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca.
Delap picked up the injury during Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Fulham in the English Premier League played on Saturday, August 30 at Stamford Bridge.
A loan deal from Bayern amounting to 15 million Euros with a mandatory option to buy Jackson for a reported sum of 80 million euros was on the cards according to Italian football expert Fabrizio Romano.


Jackson was deemed surplus to requirement after the Blues won the FIFA Club World Cup as he was set to play behind Delap and Joao Pedro.
