Two games into its campaign in the 2025 GHALCA Top 4 tournament, Kumasi Asante Kotoko are yet to register a win or even pick up a point.

The Porcupine Warriors lost 1-0 to Kpando Heart of Lions in the four team tournament that is taking place at the University of Ghana Stadium in Legon.

After losing 2-1 to Bibiani Gold Stars in the opening game, Kotoko conceded the game winner in the 35th minute after Paul Atta Agyei of Lions steered the ball into the net from inside the penalty box.

Kotoko goalkeeper Haruna Dari made a mess of an in-swinging cross from a corner kick that allowed the ball to fall to Agyei who converted the chance.

Dari, who was recently signed from Bechem United, replaced regular starting goalkeeper Mohammed Camara for the Lions clash after Camara’s involvement in a sensational own goal scored by Henry Ansu in the loss to Gold Stars. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
