Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus made his competitive debut for Tottenham Hotspurs in the London club’s loss to Paris Saint-Germain on penalties in the UEFA Super Cup.

Tottenham Hotspurs drew 2-2 with the French League Champions at the regulation time but fell short in the penalty shootout to miss out on winning a second European final in a row after beating Manchester United to win the Europa League last season.

Kudus played 79 minutes in the loss marking his first competitive outing for Spurs since joining the club from West Ham United for a reported fee of 55 million pounds on a six year deal.

He completed two of three dribbles successfully and completed 10 of 12 passes accurately while winning five of 11 ground duels in the game.

Mathys Tel replaced Kudus at a time when Spurs led 2-0 thanks to goals from defenders Micky Van De Ven and Cristian Romero.
