Rodrigo Muniz struck deep into stoppage time to earn Fulham a dramatic 1-1 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Seagulls looked on course for victory after Matt O’Riley calmly converted a 54th-minute penalty, awarded when Georginio Rutter was fouled in the box by Sander Berge.
Brighton pushed for a second, with Lewis Dunk and Yankuba Minteh both going close, but Bernd Leno stood firm in goal for the visitors.

Fulham, however, refused to fold and were rewarded in the 96th minute. A corner caused chaos in the Brighton area, and Muniz reacted quickest to smash the ball into the bottom corner, sparking wild celebrations.
The Brazilian was booked for his exuberant celebration, but his goal secured a valuable point for Marco Silva’s side.

Both teams had their chances in an open contest, but the spoils were ultimately shared. Brighton will feel they let two points slip, while Fulham will take confidence from their late fightback on the road.
