Ghana’s representative in the 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League, Police Ladies Football Club, have announced the signing of Danish striker Laura Juul Hansen.
The move is to improve the team’s quality ahead of Police Ladies’ maiden campaign in the continental championship that starts with qualifiers at the zonal level.
Police Ladies will compete in the WAFU (West African Football Union) Zone B qualifiers from August 23 to September 4 in Cote D’Ivoire.
Ahead of battling Nigeria’s Bayelsa Queens, Togolese champions AKSO and Benin’s Sam Nelly, Ghanaian champions Police Ladies have added the 24 year old Dane to its roster.
Hansen competed in the Danish Women’s Division from the 2019-2020 season to the 2022-2023 campaign for the likes of Nordsjaelland, Koge and Brondby before playing seven games in 2023 in Sweden for AIK.

Signing for B93 marked a return to the Danish league for Hansen in the 2024-2025 campaign; in 63 games in all competitions, Hansen has registered seven goals and an assist.

Police Ladies won the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League to qualify to compete in the upcoming tournament with the aim to progress to the main tournament in Algeria.
