Italian goalkeeper Gianliugi Donnarumma has described Manchester City as a club every player would to play for. He said this after signing to join the English Premier League club from French side Paris Saint-Germain.
Donarumma joins Man City on a 30 million euros deal that runs over the course of five years with the option to sign for another year. In a subsequent move, goalkeeper Ederson has moved to Turkish side Fenerbache.
Despite helping PSG win the UEFA Champions League, French Ligue 1 and French Cup treble last season, the Italian stopper fell out with PSG’s hierarchy over contract negotiations but is happy to have joined a club players would love to join.
“To have signed for Manchester City is such a special and proud moment for me.”
