Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club Head Coach Abdul Karim Zito is aware there is a ton of pressure on the club to win the Ghana Premier League title.

He noted this in a pre-game interview with Kotoko media ahead of the team’s 2025-2026 season opener against Berekum Chelsea away from home on Saturday, September 13 at 15:00 GMT.

While highlighting Kotoko’s lack of rest ahead of the new campaign due to a very busy off-season, the veteran coach talked about the need to win all games and clinch the league title after finishing third in the league last season. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“This is the third time [being with Kotoko as a coach] so I know what is at stake so we only have to work hard to achieve because Kotoko is not a club that can succumb to any other result apart from a win so we will do our best” he said.
