Tottenham Hotspurs manager Thomas Frank has called on Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus to focus on the team’s game against West Ham United and not noise from West Ham fans.
He made these comments as Tottenham prepare to take on West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday, September 13 at 16:30 GMT.
The weekend matchup has Kudus taking on his former team West Ham mere weeks after completing a 55 million pound, six year deal from the Hammers to Spurs.
Kudus spent two seasons at West Ham where he experienced an excellent first season and a solid but not spectacular season before switching to Tottenham and is sure to attract a significant level of hostility from the home fans but Thomas Frank has called on the Black Stars player to focus on the game not the fans.

“I don’t think they will applaud him! Maybe not. I’m pretty sure players and myself included, sometimes you feel the extra tension or extra noise. I’m pretty sure it’s the same for all players that are playing in hostile environments. The thing he should do is focus on his game. That’s what he can control” Thomas Frank said.

Kudus has played in all three league games for Spurs and has two assists.
