Marcus Rashford says he is very motivated after bagging a brace in FC Barcelona’s 2-1 win over Newcastle United at the St. James’ Park in England.
The English forward who is on loan from English Premier League side Manchester United, scored in the 58th and 67th minute respectively in the win with his second goal coming via a stunning snap shot that flew past Nick Pope in Newcastle’s goal.
This was the first time Rashford scored in a Barcelona shirt after his chaotic recent stint at Man United and FC Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick believes that scoring twice in the win over Newcastle will give Rashford confidence. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
On his part, Rashford was happy about the win and his performance that bagged him the Man of the Match Award.

“[Playing for Barca is an] amazing experience. I’ve always been a huge admirer of Barcelona. 100% I’m full of excitement. I’m very motivated and determined. The quality we have in the team excites me. It’s so refreshing to play with these players” Rashford said according to the BBC.
