Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani believes that had his team been a bit more patient, the Phobia club would have scored to beat Hohoe United in their Ghana Premier League game.
Hearts drew goalless with the league newbies at the Accra Sports Stadium in the opening game of the 2025-2026 Ghana Premier League season.
In a tight game that had little cutting edge in front of goal in chance creation and execution, Hearts of Oak played out the frustrating draw to pick their first point in the new campaign.
Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku and GFA Vice President Mark Addo were present to kick the ceremonial ball to mark the start of the new season.

“Sometimes you need extra patience to play one more pass to be able to break the opponent down because you need a lot of patience to break a team that is so literally defending with 10 men in the box so sometimes you need to force the passes.”

“There is a lot that we change, we just needed some small adjustments in terms of our positioning in the last area to stay more wide and utilize the gaps” Didi Dramani said.
Dramani took over as Hearts of Oak head coach in the off-season and take on Dreams FC next.
